Children’s Car Robotics Morning with the International Innovation School

Participants work in pairs under the guidance of instructors, following step‑by‑step instructions to build fully functional LEGO robots using LEGO Education kits. This time — they will be cars! 🤩

Each pair can enhance their robot with custom-selected elements to make it more stable, faster, and better prepared for racing challenges. The robot is connected to a tablet, programmed, and launched into action.

Once the robot cars are ready – they head to the track! Each pair presents their engineering masterpiece and competes head‑to‑head against another robot. The races take place on a track, and to allow more children to participate simultaneously, two parallel tracks will be running.

The winning robot car is the one that completes the track faster and/or more successfully, or travels further than its competitor.

After the group races, semifinals take place, and the fastest or most successful robot cars meet in the final. The strongest (or most successful 🙂) team wins a LEGO prize!

Fun for both boys and girls — robotics is creativity where building, programming, and racing turn into an exciting adventure! 🙃

Programme

11:00 – Brančotava opens its doors

11:30 – Robot building and track competitions

Until 14:30 – Food, drinks, music in Brančotava’s spacious courtyard

Children: €25.00

Adults: €10.00

Children up to 4 years old (inclusive): Free entry(Participation in robotics activities is NOT included, but there will be a cozy corner with beanbags and a drawing table.)

Target audience: children aged 5–11

Additional Information

• The event takes place indoors.

• Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed (water will be provided).

• Limited number of tickets available.

• Video surveillance may be in operation during the event. By attending, visitors agree that photo and video recordings may be made and used for commercial purposes.
