“Argentine Stories” at Branku Brančotava

We invite you to an evening where words and music intertwine in a single breath, guiding the listener through the passion and temperament of Latin America.

Actor Vilis Daudziņš brings to life the world of Jorge Luis Borges – stories where reality blends with imagination, and simple events reveal deep and sometimes unexpected reflections on human nature and choice.

This literary space is enriched by Aigars Raumanis on saxophone and Miks Akots on guitar, whose musical interpretations open a gateway to the emotional landscapes of Buenos Aires and Brazil.

In this program, music is not merely an accompaniment – it becomes another storyteller.

The program features works by Máximo Diego Pujol, excerpts from Astor Piazzolla’s “History of Tango”, as well as music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, adding a poetic and nuanced tone to the evening.

This will be a night where tango, stories, and music meet, allowing each listener to find their own path through passion, melancholy, and longing.

The concert will take place with table seating. Guests are warmly invited to arrive before the concert to enjoy a specially prepared menu by our chef, along with drinks and cocktails from the Branku Brančotava bar.
