Musician Linda Leen and her stage friends will be visiting us with a tribute to the golden age of jazz and its greats, including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, etc. Music that has lived in Broadway musical theaters, Hollywood films, New York jazz clubs and has now become a classic of this genre.
You may have heard Linda's voice in jazz music at one of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra's symphonic jazz concerts at the "Vasarnīca" festival or to the brilliant accompaniment of the Ventspils Big Band - this time we will enjoy the atmosphere of a jazz club, or her voice and personality up close.
