An inspiring evening with Kristīne and Kristaps Liepiņi. The mountains are their element – a place where both strength and endurance are tested, as well as the resilience of a relationship and the ability to trust one another.
Kristīne and Kristaps Liepiņi are mountaineers and a couple who have been climbing together for fourteen years, conquering over 200 peaks across five continents.They are the only couple – and Kristīne the first woman – to have summited the nine highest peaks of the Andes in South America, each rising above 6,500 meters.Their shared story is one of physical and mental endurance, spiritual closeness, courage, and mutual respect.
This conversation will touch on relationships, the courage to face challenges, the tough moments along the way – and, of course, the majestic mountain summits. It’s about how to stay in harmony when life tests you, and how to keep reaching upward – both in the mountains and in everyday life.
The talk will be held in an interview format, led by moderator Kristīne Kode, who will create a warm and open space where guests can find inspiration and practical insights for their own “everyday summits.”
